Skills for Security was established in 1990 to improve the quality and uptake of of qualifications
and training in the security and associated industries and assist the individuals dedicated to raising standards.
It is now responsible for working with both government departments and industry to establish training and qualification
standards for the security community, interviewing where required to stimulate great involvement in relevant educational issues.

combination of technical expertise and business excellence and are regularly inspected to ensure they continually meet the highest
standards. NSI Gold companies have traditionally achieved the internationally recognised ISO901 Waulity Management standard. The
Guarding Gold scheme is accredited for quality management and product certification by the United Kingdom Accreditiation Service (UKAS)
which is recognised by the DTI.
